Artist Residence

Located in the charming Chapel Street in the heart of Penzance, you instantly recognise the classic branding and design of the Artist Residence hotels as soon as you walk into reception. With fun artwork, retro neon lights and cosy soft furnishings I knew I had arrived at the right place. Country chic with a mix of bohemian styling and retro and modern pieces seamlessly blended together all create a unique, laid back atmosphere throughout the hotel. There are 19 electric rooms available as well as 3 cosy bedroom cottages to choose from. The rooms start from a snug double which is a lovely little nook, all the way up to their impressive cottage which can sleep up to 6 people across 3 bedrooms. This is a great hotel for a getaway to Cornwall.

The Little Cider House

After finding this charming cabin on Unique Hideaways, I knew we would want to stay here, as it ticked so many of our boxes when we look for a UK staycation. They are dog friendly which is always a big win for us, had a hot tub which is a luxury extra we love to have and it’s based in the most gorgeous setting in Cornwall. From the fabulous features of the hot tub, fireplace and even hammocks, to the cosy and relaxing vibe that made it easy for us to unwind, we loved it here. The location was ideal for exploring coastal towns and hidden gems of Cornwall and we loved that we felt a million miles away from anyone else. Porthia Penthouse

I was so excited when I saw the photos of the amazing Porthia Penthouse, the balcony, the interiors and those views across the beach and to the sea were making me beyond excited to stay here. When we entered the home, we could instantly tell that the owners had thought of every little detail to really create a home away from home. Porthia Penthouse is a 2 bedroom apartment that can sleep up to 4 guests. The interiors throughout the property are sleek, chic and have touches of seaside charm. I loved the bright colours of blue and yellow across the open plan living and dining area. It created such a vibrant environment that on even grey days, the world seemed that little bit brighter inside Porthia Penthouse.
