A mini guide to the Cotswolds

In this mini guide I will be sharing all of my favourite places to visit in my hometown of The Cotswolds. It’s full of delightful places to shop, eat, stay and spa, so keep reading to find out about some hidden gems and firm favourites for your next trip.

Where to stay

You really are spoilt for choice if you decide to come and stay in the Cotswolds as there are many beautiful country estates, luxury hotels and fun glamping sites to pick from, so which one will you go to.

Where to eat and drink

The Cotswolds is full of charming country pubs and high end restaurants that you will be spoilt for choice of where to dine at. Here are some of my favourites.

Place to visit

We are very lucky to have so many picturesque villages and towns and most of them have incredible pubs to eat at and shops to spend your money too. You will definitely have a fun day out when stopping off at these fabulous places.

Where to shop

There are so many beautiful places to shop and recreate the Cotswold look at home and you definitely have to pop to one of our farm shops as they are like no other farm shop out there. If you visit over a weekend then head to Stroud Farmers Market on Saturday morning (but get there early) as it’s a wonderful place to pick up local, fresh produce. Pictured is Jolly Nice and I’m lucky enough to call it my local, It’s full of yummy treats, gorgeous fresh flowers, and local produce so you should definitely pop here to treat yourself to some lovely foodie bits.

Things to see and do

There are so many fun and wonderful things to do in the Cotswolds from seeing wild animals, learning about the history, or exploring the glorious countryside.

There are also lots of walks which is a great way to explore the local countryside and villages.
