Brighton is a great place to go for a weekend away if you are wanting to explore the seaside, shop in some quirky boutique shops, and try some delicious food at the many restaurants it has on offer.
It’s a unique town but with the old seaside charm so everyone will instantly fall in love with this place. It has something for the whole family to do whether you are into drinking cocktails and watching the waves or you want to see the town from a new height. There are many local attractions on offer, and definitely more than enough keep you busy for a whole weekend or two.
How to get there
Brighton is well connected no matter where you are coming from so you should be able to get here without any problems. It is less than an hour’s train ride from London, so great to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and get some sea wind in your hair.
Train – The train station is right in the centre of town and is walking distance to the beach front and centre. This may be a great option to avoid car hassle but do check how long, how many stops, and the cost to make sure you pick the best option for you.
Car – This is probably one of the easiest ways to get here, just as you have more freedom to stop on your journey there and back. The only downside is that not many hotels will offer parking, so you need to find somewhere to park. However, there are many underground and multi-story car parks so you should find somewhere easy enough.
Where to stay
If you are looking for somewhere to stay that is stylish, luxurious, and just bloody amazing, then book a stay at the Artist Residence. The rooms are so beautifully decorated, as you can see from the above photos, so this is a place to stay for a real treat. They really know how to make every aspect of your stay special and all the staff were so friendly and helpful it just made our stay even more perfect.
